This restaurant in Valletta is a true gem! The Maltese architecture is charming, providing an authentic and cozy atmosphere. The English café served is simply spectacular – fresh and with such a generous jug that you can enjoy several cups. The service also deserves praise, with a team that is always attentive and helpful. Although there's no air conditioning, they compensate with several fans, ensuring the place stays comfortable even on the hottest days. Additionally, the good music in the background creates an even more enjoyable atmosphere. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best restaurants in Malta. Highly recommend!

Great place if you fancy something different from the normal cafe or restaurant. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Great value local food and drink. Felt a bit like a UK working man's club with two full size snooker tables being used by older men. Good vibes.

This is a culinary gem hidden in plain sight on the main (Republic) Street of Valletta in fabulously atmospheric period surroundings.The club itself is a magnificent Mediterranean building. Inside it feels like a Havana club while the food is tasty, fresh and represents excellent value for money in the Maltese capital.Breakfast is good, lunch and dinner excellent, all within an iconic band club in the heart of the Maltese capital.Don't miss this if you are a tourist...and become a regular if you live or work nearby!

A fabulous local find. Ate here on the first night. Food was very good value for money. Bar staff exceptional. We arrived 45 minutes before the kitchen opened so decided to wait with drinks. The barman suddenly just rustled up some bruschetta with tomatoes, onions and olives on the house to keep us going until the kitchen opened. Returned again last night about 11pm as we heard 80s vibes. Lots of locals all dancing. Brilliant.

Real Maltese food by local Maltese people. If you want to eat drink like a local this is the place reasonable prices for the letter decent sizing of food. You definitely won't be leaving this place hungry!!

I don’t think you can get much more ‘off the beaten track’ than this, tucked away on one of the busiest streets in Valletta!Very friendly staff, delicious traditional Maltese food, and cool and peaceful inside.Upstairs is the members club but on ground floor is open to the public.

The La Vallette Band Club, in Valletta, Malta, Is not only home to the band but a hidden gem of a restaurant. This a traditional Maltese Band Club with a full bar and full menu. From your traditional Maltese items, such as rabbit stew, ftiras, and pastas, to hamburgers and chicken. My favorite are the pork chops which are always cooked perfectly. Two big, juicy chops with salad and chips, fries for our American friends, at a very budget friendly price. The service has always been happy and warm. The band club is on Republic Street.
